Getting started
Is EventBuzza free?
Yes. Finding events is free with no account, and sharing flyers and events, commenting, photos and registering are free with one. The paid Venue plan adds managing a venue’s page and hosting events. Read the guide
Do I need an account?
Not to look around. You need one to share flyers, post events, register, comment, add photos and follow places. Read the guide
Is there an app?
EventBuzza installs from your browser instead of an app store: choose Install EventBuzza at the end of the Events list, or on an iPhone Add to Home Screen in Safari. Read the guide

You can look for events anywhere. Most listings today are around Olympia and the South Sound, Washington, where EventBuzza started, and hosted events are at approved venues there. Read the guide
Finding events
Why don’t I see any events?
Choose a place first: type a town or ZIP code in Find a place, or choose Use my location. Then check the When and Explore filters, which may be narrowing the list. Some areas don’t have much listed yet; share a flyer you’ve seen with Buzz It. Read the guide
How do I find a specific event, band or venue?
Type it in Search events and flyers at the top of Events, on the home page, or with the magnifying glass at the top of any page. It searches every event and flyer, coming up and past, with no location needed; part of a word works (“hallow” finds Halloween). Read the guide
How far from me does it look?
Within 5 miles of the place you chose. Move or zoom the map to look somewhere else. Read the guide
Can I add an event to my calendar?
Yes: Add to calendar on an event’s page. To keep a whole town or venue in your calendar, use Follow → Add to your calendar on its page. Read the guide
Why is an event shown in a general area?
Its flyer named the town but not the exact spot, so it’s shown in that town’s area with a dashed pin. Check the flyer for the place. Read the guide
An event’s details are wrong. What do I do?
Open it and choose Suggest an update. If it’s your own flyer or post, fix it yourself from your dashboard. Read the guide
