Venue staff

Managers invite people to help run their venue: venue administrators and venue moderators. Staff need only a free account.

Invite someone

  1. Open your venue’s Venue Manager from Your venues, then Staff.
  2. Type the email they sign in to EventBuzza with, choose what they do, and choose Invite.
  3. Tell them: they sign in with that email, open Your venues and choose Accept. EventBuzza doesn’t email them yet.
  • Venue administrators run the venue’s page, hours, photos, notice, events (saying yes or no to other hosts), the events neighbors list there, its comments and photos, insights, print kit and newsletters. Only Plan & billing and Staff are yours alone.
  • Venue moderators look after the comments and photos on the venue’s page and its events.
  • Only you, the manager, invite, change (with the menu beside their name) or remove staff. Up to 20 staff and invitations at a time; Cancel takes back an invitation still waiting.
  • Staff need a free account and to be 18 or over; the Venue plan isn’t needed. If your Venue plan ends, their access waits until it’s back.

If you’re invited

Your venues shows the invitation with Accept and Decline. Once you accept, the venue is under Venues you help run: choose Open the Venue Manager for the parts your role reaches (see The Venue Manager). Leave stops helping.

Good to know: If EventBuzza approves a new manager for the venue, its staff start fresh: the new manager invites their own.
