Newsletters from your venue
Email news to the people who follow your venue and asked for it: write it, send yourself a test, then send it.
Who gets it
People who follow your venue and turned on Get news from your venue on your page (or News from this venue in their Following). It’s their choice, it’s for members 18 and over, and each newsletter lets them stop your news in one click. Newsletters in the Venue Manager says how many people get it, never who.
Send one
- In the Venue Manager, choose Newsletters.
- Write a subject and your message (plain text; a blank line starts a new paragraph). Add a button with a link if you like, such as Get tickets.
- Leave Add what’s coming up on to list your events of the next 10 days under your message.
- Choose Send me a test and check it in your email.
- Choose Send to your followers, then Send now. It goes out over the next few minutes, one person at a time; Sent shows how it went.
It comes from “your venue via EventBuzza”, and replies go to the email on your venue’s page, if you added one. EventBuzza checks every newsletter automatically: if something can’t be sent, change it and try again. There’s no limit on how many you send, but people stop news that comes too often.
