Why we ask for your date of birth
Your date of birth applies age rules. It’s never shown to anyone, and it can’t be changed by you once saved.
- EventBuzza is for ages 13 and over. Some things need an age: sharing flyers, comments and photos, and registering. Posting events and hosting are for 18 and over.
- Only an age group (13–17, 18–20, 21 and over) is ever used; the date itself is never shown, not even to the team.
- Accounts from before we asked see One quick thing · Add your date of birth once on Home. Until then you can browse, change settings and withdraw what you shared.
Members aged 13 to 17
Teens can share flyers, comment and add photos. Their flyers stay in the gallery rather than becoming events, and they can’t post events, host, or register for 18+ and 21+ events.
If it’s wrong
Once saved, your date of birth is locked (Settings shows Entered by you · locked). Write to us at hello@eventbuzza.com and a site admin will correct it.
