Your profile and showing your name
Your name is private unless you choose to show it. Add a display name, photo and a few words about you.
Open Profile.
- Show my name on what I share is off at first, so your flyers, events, comments and photos say “A member” (or your badge, such as “Contributor”, if you have one) and hosts appear as “EventBuzza host”. Turn it on to show your display name, or your first name and last initial.
- Name is your own name. It stays private unless you choose to show it.
- Display name (up to 60 characters) is the name others see when you show it.
- Profile photo: JPG, PNG or WebP up to 3 MB. Only you see it, in your dashboard and on the map. Remove photo takes it off.
- You can also add a neighborhood, up to 8 interests and a few words About you (up to 280 characters).
- Your badge, and how close you are to the next one, is at the bottom of Profile (see Check it, badges, points and levels).
Choose Save profile when you’re done. Your email and date of birth are never shown.
