Pricing: free, and the Venue plan

Finding events is free with no account. Sharing is free with an account. The Venue plan adds managing a venue’s page and hosting events.

Find events on the map and by day, search every event and flyer, open event, venue and town pages, and add events to your calendar.

Share flyers and list events, comment, share photos and share events on social media; register for events; follow towns and venues; and manage everything you posted.

The Venue plan

• Manage your venue’s page: ask to manage the venue you run (see Manage the venue you run) and brand its page (see Your venue’s page). EventBuzza keeps every venue: you manage its page, you don’t own it.
• Host events with registration, check-in, messages and results (see Start hosting).
• Run the events at your venue: say yes or no to other hosts, suggest changes to their events, and fix or hide events neighbors listed there (see Events at your venue).
• Venue staff and moderation: invite people to help (see Venue staff) and look after comments and photos (see Moderate your venue).
• Wildstar Studio (coming soon): flyers, artwork and video for your events, included in the plan. Very heavy use may cost extra later; you’ll always see the price before you pay anything.

It’s $19 a month or $190 a year, plus tax where it applies, for ages 18 and over. More features for every member come as they’re released.

Getting it

1. Open Membership (or Pricing) and choose Get the Venue plan.
2. Choose monthly or yearly, then Continue to payment.
3. Pay on Stripe’s secure checkout: add your card and billing address (tax is worked out from it). Your card goes to Stripe, never to EventBuzza. Stripe emails your receipt.
4. You come back to Membership, and the plan turns on as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, usually at once.

Good to know: Where payments aren’t on yet, the button is Send my request instead: nothing is charged, and the EventBuzza team turns the plan on for you.

Plan & billing

Your plan shows in Membership and, for venue managers, in the Venue Manager under Plan & billing: since when, billed monthly or yearly, the next charge (or Ends on … once you cancel), what it includes and what you use.

Choose Manage card, receipts and plan to open Stripe’s billing page, where you can:

• Change your card.
• See and download receipts.
• Switch between monthly and yearly.
• Cancel: the plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then ends. Payments aren’t refunded, including for the rest of a period. Changed your mind before it ends? Renew it there.

If a payment fails, Plan & billing and your Home say so. The plan stays on for a short while as Stripe tries again; update your card to keep it.

A plan the EventBuzza team gave you costs nothing: choose Ask to end the plan… to stop it, and the team ends it and lets you know.

When the plan ends, your venue tools pause: your venue pages stay as they are, your venue staff wait, and newsletters stop. Nothing you made is removed, and events you published before keep running. You can start the plan again any time.
