EventBuzzaBuzz It

Getting started

What EventBuzza is

A town bulletin board in your pocket: neighbors share the flyers they spot, and EventBuzza lists their events on one list and map.

People snap the flyers they see on poles, in windows and on community boards. EventBuzza reads each flyer and, when it shows a name, a date and a place, lists the event for everyone: on the map, on its town’s page and on an event page of its own.

  • Free to use. Finding and sharing events needs no subscription, and there are no ads targeted at you. The optional Venue plan adds managing a venue’s page and hosting events.
  • No account needed to look. Browse events, flyers, towns and venues without signing in or sharing your location.
  • An account lets you take part: share flyers with Buzz It, post events, register for hosted events, comment, add photos and follow places.
  • Hosts with the Venue plan also run their own events on EventBuzza from a ready-made playbook, with registration and check-in.

Where it works

You can look for events anywhere. Most listings today are around Olympia and the South Sound in Washington State, where EventBuzza started, and hosted events must be at an approved venue in that area. Dates and the day lists follow Pacific time.
