Share a flyer with Buzz It
Snap a flyer you spotted. It goes in the gallery, and when it shows a name, a date and a place, its event is listed for everyone.
- Choose Buzz It (the colorful button on every page). Sign in if you’re asked.
- Choose Take a photo and photograph the whole flyer, straight on, or Choose from library.
- Optionally say Where did you see it? (for example “Library board”).
- Choose Share this flyer. EventBuzza reads it, which can take a minute.
What happens next
- “Shared! Your flyer is in the gallery and its event is listed.” It’s on the map, its town’s page and an event page.
- “…after a quick check by the team.” A person looks first; see Why something waits for a check.
- “Someone already shared this flyer”: your photo joins theirs as another sighting.
- If the flyer doesn’t say its name, date or place clearly, a form opens with what was read so you can add what the flyer didn’t say.
- A flyer that isn’t for an event (or shows only “Ongoing” with no days) stays in the gallery as a flyer.
Photo tips and limits
- JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB. iPhone HEIC photos need to be exported as JPEG first (or set the camera to Most Compatible).
- Get the whole flyer in the frame, flat and in focus. Glare and angles make it harder to read.
- Up to 20 flyers a day.
- Hidden details in your photo, including its GPS location, are removed before it’s kept.
Please note: Buzz It isn’t for emergencies. If someone is in danger, call 911.
