Why something waits for a check
EventBuzza lists first and holds things only for safety, so a person looks before some posts and flyers appear.
Most flyers and posts appear straight away. A person from the team takes a quick look first when something might not be safe to show, for example:
- it’s at someone’s home (once checked, it’s listed with only its town or neighborhood, never the address);
- it reads like a warning or an accusation rather than an event;
- the date is more than a year away;
- the automatic picture check wasn’t sure about a photo or flyer.
Doubts about accuracy don’t hold anything: the event is listed and can be corrected later. If the team doesn’t accept something, your dashboard says so, sometimes with a message from the team.
