Comments and photos

Members can comment on events, flyers, towns and venues, and add photos to event pages. Both are checked automatically.

Comments

  • Anyone can read comments. Sign in to write one, up to 1,000 characters.
  • Comments can’t include links, email addresses or phone numbers, so nobody’s contact details end up on a public page.
  • Keep it kind and on topic: an automatic check turns away unkind comments, and a comment it isn’t sure about shows only to you (“Only you can see this until the team checks it”) until someone looks.
  • Edit or delete your own comments from the comment itself.
  • Up to 30 comments a day, at least 15 seconds apart.
  • A venue can answer comments on its page and its events’ pages. Its answer shows under your comment with the venue’s logo and, while EventBuzza has checked who runs it, the Verified venue mark.

Photos on event pages

  • Were you there? Under Photos on the event’s page, choose your photo in Add a photo (JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB), add a caption if you like (up to 280 characters), tick I took this photo, or I may share it. and choose Share photo.
  • Members’ photos appear after an automatic check. Up to 20 a day.
  • Sharing a photo needs an account for now. Where EventBuzza takes photos without an account, the page offers its form to everyone, and those photos wait for the event’s host, or the team, to approve them.
  • Your photos are in Photos, where you can delete them.
  • Posted or hosting an event? Photos of it sent by people without an account wait for you in Photos under Waiting for you: choose Approve or Don’t approve. At a venue with a manager, its managers can approve them too.

Good to know: Your name shows on comments and photos only if you turn on Show my name on what I share in your profile. Otherwise they say “A member”.

Still need help?

Write to us at hello@eventbuzza.com and say what you were trying to do, on which page, and what happened. A screenshot helps. To report a flyer, event, comment or photo, use its Report button so the team sees exactly what you mean.
