How billing works
Free for new members
Your first plan starts with 3 months free. Stripe’s checkout takes your card and charges nothing today; the first charge is when the trial ends. Cancel before then in Plan & billing and you pay nothing. One free trial per person: if you’ve had a plan or a trial before, it starts the day you pay.
Stripe’s secure checkout
Choose monthly or yearly and pay with your card on Stripe’s checkout, plus tax where it applies. Your card goes to Stripe, never to EventBuzza.
Renews until you cancel
Your plan renews every month or every year from the day you start, until you cancel.
Cancel any time
In Plan & billing, choose Manage card, receipts and plan, then Cancel. The plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then ends. Payments aren’t refunded, including for the rest of a period. Changed your mind? Renew it there before it ends.
Switch monthly or yearly
Monthly to yearly starts at once: you pay for the year, less the unused part of your month. Yearly to monthly starts when the year you paid for ends.
Receipts and your card
Stripe’s billing page, from Plan & billing, keeps every receipt and invoice to download, and lets you change your card.
If a payment fails
Plan & billing says so, and the plan stays on for a short while as Stripe tries again. Update your card to keep it.
When the plan ends
Your venue tools pause: your venue’s page stays as it is, your venue staff wait, and newsletters stop. Nothing you made is removed, and events you already published keep running. Start the plan again any time to pick up where you left off.

Questions
Do I need the Venue plan to list events at my venue?
No. Anyone with a free account shares flyers and lists events, at your venue or anywhere. The plan is for managing your venue’s page and hosting events with registration.
I run more than one venue. Do I need a plan for each?
No. One Venue plan covers every venue you manage. Ask to manage each one, and the team checks each request.
Whose page is it?
Every venue stays on EventBuzza, with one page each. You manage your venue’s page while you have the plan, and the team checks every request to manage one. If someone else already manages yours, write to hello@eventbuzza.com.
My venue isn’t on EventBuzza. Can I add it?
Yes. In Your venues, choose Ask for a new venue. The team checks that you run it and that it isn’t here already, then adds it with its own page. Homes can’t have a venue page.
Can I sell tickets?
Not yet. Hosted events are free to attend, with no tickets or payments.
Is there a free trial or a refund?
New members get 3 months free: add your card at checkout, nothing is charged today, and the plan bills monthly or yearly once the trial ends. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. One free trial per person. Payments aren’t refunded after that; canceling keeps the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Who can get it?
Anyone 18 or over with an EventBuzza account. Your venue staff need only a free account.
