Playbooks: ready-made event plans
Every hosted event starts from a playbook with a run of show, group size, length and checklist. There’s one for each kind of event.
Open Hosting → Playbooks. Search by name or kind of event, or show the ones you Saved.
- A playbook explains why the format works and who it’s for, then the setup, helpers, run of show, accessibility, safety, promotion (with ready-to-post text), good venues, the checklist, and how to tell it went well.
- There’s a playbook for each kind of event (music, nightlife, art, performance, film, food and drink, markets, outdoors, classes, community, family and something different), plus more specific formats like trivia, open mic and paint and sip.
- Each sets a length and a range of group sizes your event fits within.
- Use this playbook starts a new event from it; Make a flyer for it opens the flyer maker for that kind of event; Save keeps it handy; Copy link shares a public preview.
Playbooks are written and updated by the team. Your events keep the version they started from.
