Quick answers
How do I host an event?
Hosting comes with the Venue plan. With it, accept the host terms in Settings under Host your own events, then create an event from a playbook in Hosting. Read the guide
Can I host at my home?
Yes. Propose it in Hosting → Venues as My home. Once the team approves it, only you host there, the team checks each event, and only people registered see the address. Other venues must be public or commercial places in the Olympia area for now. Read the guide
Can I charge for tickets?
Not yet. Hosted events are free to attend, with no tickets or payments. Hosting itself comes with the Venue plan. Read the guide
Why can’t I choose the capacity I want?
An event’s capacity must fit both its playbook’s group sizes and how many people the venue holds; the form says the range. If the venue holds fewer than the playbook’s smallest group, the form says who can change that and links there: you in Hosting → Venues if you proposed or claimed it and nobody manages it, its manager in the Venue Manager, or EventBuzza. Or choose another playbook or venue. Read the guide
Can I run an event every week?
Yes. Choose Every week under When does it happen?, with an end date up to 26 weeks away. Add dates later as it keeps going. Read the guide
I need to cancel one date of my series.
In the series’ Setup tab, choose Cancel this date. Registrations end, and a message is ready to copy into your email. Read the guide
How do I change a published event?
A series can add or cancel dates itself. Other changes, or calling an event off, go through the team: write to hello@eventbuzza.com. Read the guide
