Staying safe at events

Events come from flyers people spotted. Check the details with the organizers, meet in public places, and tell us about anything unsafe.

  • Listings come from flyers and other sources, so details can change: check the event’s page, the flyer and the organizers before you go.
  • Hosted events happen at venues the team approved, and hosts agree to keep attendees safe. An event at someone’s home is checked by the team first and shows only its town or neighborhood; its address goes only to the people registered.
  • Be wary of anyone asking for payment outside EventBuzza or for personal details you wouldn’t share in public.
  • Report anything unsafe or misleading, and in an emergency call 911.
